BTI Signs Chinese Deal

BTI Systems, a company that makes components for fibre optic networks, has signed a joint research and development initiative with Wuhan FiberHome Networks Co. Ltd. in China. The agreement will see BTI open a new subsidiary and hire about 15 people to staff its new Chinese offices. The company, which employs about 180 in Ottawa, believes the new deal will open new markets overseas for its products.
