3X Backup Version 1.15 is in Alpha
Today, 3X System released v1.15 of it's software into internal alpha. This is the first major feature release since the product went gold in late May and brings a number of exciting new features to the product including:
- Support for Windows Server 2000
- Built in agent for MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005
- VaultBackup, the ability to snapshot the appliance to a USB hard drive for redundancy and archiving.
- File and Version Defragmentation, a major storage optimization
Once the system passes internal testing, it will be released to a select group of 3X partners for beta testing. Once our partners are satisfied with the performance of these components, the product will be released into public distribution.
